Life Beyond Grief ... Remembering God's Promises, is based on the grief I experienced while mourning the loss of three dear family members who passed away within months of each other. First, my oldest brother, a dreamer with a kind heart, passed away. Exactly three months later, my father, who believed in "just being fair" and gave of his time, talent and treasures, passed. Finally, one month later, my sister and the youngest in the family, the one who believed in turning lemons into lemonade and encouraging others, took her last breath. Although the healthcare providers temporarily resuscitated her, she was officially declared dead the next day. Her death occurred 31 days after my father's.

Join my husband, Charles, and I as we walk you through 'some' of the darkest years and months of our lives. Our transparency is obvious as we share events that occurred from Saturday, April 30, 2016, to Ash Wednesday, March 2, 2022. Although this timeframe presented moments of joy, achievement, and exhilarating experiences, it also gave us events that were challenging, devastating and painful. You will read vulnerable, personal accounts and the negative impacts that grief inflicted on my life.
