You may experience grief for many reasons. A major source of grief is the loss of a loved one, though countless other situations in our lives also cause us grief and pain. Many questions may arise during grieving the death of a loved one, such as:

• Where will I go when I die?
• Why did this happen?
• Is God's time like our time?
• Why am I still here?
• How big is my God?
• What about the future?

The "God stories" in this book may not line up exactly with your situation, but look for the commonality as you seek to get out of your grief. There is a common thread of light that goes through all of the stories that applies to your life no matter what your story is.

These "God stories" are tied to God's Word that points you back to God, for He has all the answers. God loves you very much! If you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, He has a great future and a hope for you.
