A letter back from a place of pain.After many years of engaging in all sorts of ways with the Letter to the Hebrews, Joy Tetley felt compelled to write a letter back to the unknown author.

"What has propelled me in this direction is the experience of journeying with my beloved husband through the long years of his dementia and terminal illness. During that time, and then in the period since his passing into heaven, the message of Hebrews has been of vital significance. I explore that with the author, sharing the help I have been given, but also, from a place of acute pain, raising some frank questions about some of the things Hebrews says. Hebrews urges us to be bold and direct in our relationship with God. In my letter back, I have tried to be just that."
