I believe that balance in our lives is the only way to continue to excel in our hospice careers.

In reality, every one of us needs help at different times in our careers.

Our names don't matter in this book. Our personalities and integrity will lead the way.

Hospice, is it easy? Of course not. But oh how we strive to help.

One nurse told me recently, "I was punched in the gut today by what I saw."

Another nurse told me, "This is my last year," but of course she has said that before and doesn't mean it.
