Dekker explains his belief that the events in Sinner are soon to come in the real world- that what the world takes for granted will change at some point soon. He wants 'Sinner' to open Christian's eyes to a day where our freedoms would be severely restricted. Dekker believes that it is important to prepare ourselves for this day. 'Sinner' aims to forecast this day as a warning to Christians who are not prepared for such circumstances.
