The year is 2021 and the world has been made eerily vacant by the strange disappearance of multitudes of people. Now, six months after these unexplained vanishings, society is in turmoil and filled with fear. For Graham Peck and his family, making sense of this new world is unlike any struggle they have ever known, and one made even more difficult after a family tragedy. To find comfort, they turn to the one place they have always known to be a constant in their life: the Church. But, to their shock, all the buildings are empty.

Instead, they find a radical group called The New Believers who welcome Graham and his family into their midst.
