Love epic fantasy sagas?
The Bone House continues the sweeping, gripping Bright Empire series
Mixing treasure hunt and multiverses, this is a boundless story of danger and imagination
The Bone House is the thrilling sequel to Stephen Lawhead’s inter-dimensional adventure, ‘The Skin Map’.
Kit Livingstone, the Ley Line traveler, is chasing after the skin map – the coded symbols tattooed on a 17th century explorer that charts the hidden dimensions of the multi-universe. This impossible task he inherited from his great-grandfather, Cosimo, has now turned dangerous thanks to the ruthless Burley Men, who are hunting for the same prize.
Scattered across the time and space, Kit must navigate the winding alleyways of Egyptian sphinxes, master the market streets of Prague and make a pilgrimage to where universes collide across the Stone Age landscape. Piecing together the ruminants of the map become Kit’s obsession, and with the help of his friends he must retraces his steps to find his girlfriend lost in the fabric of time itself.
Stephen R. Lawhead, acclaimed author of several fantasy series, masterfully criss-crosses many different fiction genres – adventure, ancient history, sci-fi, mystery and philosophy – crafting a page-turning quest that’s out of this world. Join the mind-bending adventure in the second-of-five books in the Bright Emperies series.
