It's been a month since Agent Rick McCoy and his immortal partner, Dante Brand, stopped a devastating war between humans and the secret mythic community in Washington DC. Serial killers in DC are nothing new, and the threat of public panic is all too real. The fate of the city brings Rick back together with an old friend, Metro Police Detective Maxwell Cooper.
