Mia is on track for a full ride scholarship to the college of her dreams. For the past three years, she's proudly maintained her perfect GPA and her many extracurriculars. Her senior year is in the palm of her hand. That is, until she steps into her English class. To her dismay, she sits directly behind the school hottie, Eli Garcia. And while that would be every other girl's dream, Mia's been there and done that. Her ex is the last thing she needs on her mind.

Eli's only desire is to graduate and get out of town. And he has no Plan B. He's practiced his audition piece for years knowing that it would be his golden ticket into Bravado Conservatory School of Music. Instead, he's become bemused by the girl with the golden hair.
