Dr. Matthew Rivers had it all. A good career, with a promotion in sight and a great family, who had been through the worst and made it to the other side. His determination and dedication were all paying off. Things couldn't be better.

But then it begins to fall apart.

Nurse Natalie Stevens walks through the doors of his ER, igniting feelings he had buried for the good of his job. His sister flies home to inform the family her cancer is back. And just as he was coming to terms with these bombs dropped on him, someone comes after his loved ones.
