There is trouble in Wyldhaven. Multiple townsfolk report thefts and Sheriff Reagan Callahan is stumped as to who the culprit might be. Meanwhile, the women of the town are busy planning Christmas surprises for their menfolk-but not without challenges of their own.

Charlotte worked hard to raise money to buy Reagan boots, but now her money has been stolen. Dixie's baby comes early, throwing a wrench into her plans to pick up Flynn's sleigh. Liora saved all year to buy Joe a saddle, but it goes missing-along with one of the women who boards in their home. The horse Jacinda purchased for Zane is wilder than a rattler, and Zoe can't decide if it would be appropriate to give her friend Wash a present at all. Aurora overheard Parson Clay say he wanted a puppy, but when she presents him with one, it's obvious she misunderstood.

And through it all, Kin Davis is there, lending a helping hand to each family in need. He sure will miss Wyldhaven when he leaves, but he's made up his mind and nothing will convince him to stay-except maybe the new banker's niece.
