In 1978, five children attend a grade three Sunday School class and a teenager has a future-altering experience at church camp. Growing up, they learn lessons about God, friendship, and themselves that will be challenged as they face unpredictable and often difficult life circumstances.Whether running from oppressive expectations as a missionary kid or rising to the challenge of professional musicianship, each character has a unique struggle. Yet even through family conflict, broken homes, disappointment and damage, growth and reconciliation is in the works.

Sunday School Reunion follows the spiritual journeys of five children and their youth pastor from Essence Community Church. Tracing their lives from childhood to adulthood throughout the three Parts, characters all encounter situations of pivotal importance to their growing understanding of the nature of God. This novella explores the overarching theme of reconciliation with God; with His Church; and with His children.

When all is said and done, will everyone from Sunday School be at the Reunion?
