More than a syndrome is the story of my daughter who is now almost twenty-seven years old. This story is about how this special needs child came to be in our lives. How families are chosen to be the caretakers of such amazing individuals. I would like to believe that we were all chosen for a specific purpose. As the years have gone by in my life, I have come to realize that my daughter really didn't need me as much as I needed her. Being a parent of a special needs child has humbled me in so many ways. God bless all parents in the world, and remember our children are a gift from him.
