A pair of federal agents bust a human trafficking ring, but they only catch the local operatives. Sometime later, Michael Jones, working as a newspaper reporter in a small town in the Midwest, finds his life falling into disarray from a series of frightening nightmares. His faith is challenged as he searches for answers in the wrong places with his search bringing him into contact with believers and non-believers, and ultimately, he crosses paths with the investigators of a child trafficking ring. Michael learns that when bad things happen to him and others, God is working toward the good as an answer to prayers, and sometimes it is surprising what events and who plays a part of the answers to prayers.
