Even after years of abuse and mistreatment under the Egyptians' rule, Abigail and her family have always trusted the Lord. They continuously hold onto the hope that God will bring them freedom.

One day, freedom comes in the form of a man named Moses. He gives Abigail and her people, the Israelites, the chance to have a new life. The Israelites jump at the opportunity to get out from under the Egyptians' hand, but when faced with Pharaoh's soldiers, no food or water, sickness, and God's wrath, they begin to wonder if being free is truly worth all the hardships.

As everyone around Abigail begins to rebel and doubt God, Abigail must decide whether or not she trusts God.
