In the aftermath of the fall of the Tower of Babel, Numrud-Bel a half-giant king seeks to reunite man under one king by waging a second war-one to unite all tongues and tribes beneath his rule.

On his Northern Campaign he captures a boy taking him in as his ward. The boy, Huron, is trained in his court, but Huron is not who he seems. He seeks vengeance for the disruption of his birthright. Huron is pushed into a chain of events, that he thinks are woven by the sisters of fate setting him down a path of no return, and into the adventure he has been seeking. He is entrusted along this path by spiritual and physical guides showing him that his true destiny has only just begun.
