The Flying Torah is the third story in the continuing adventures of Kristie and Joey who are best friends from different religious backgrounds. Each story in the series highlights the connective similarities between the Christian and Jewish experiences and history. Kristie's Christian Sunday school class has a special guest speaker. Reverend Jamie invites his friend Rabbi Abraham to teach a lesson showing how young Jesus studied from the Torah. Napping Kristie is soon whisked away on her flying Torah. She's able to see young Jesus and his mother during a Torah study lesson.
