Kelby is a curious river rat living along the Blackstone River. One night Kelby admires the moon and decides to set out and catch it for his den. Along the way Kelby faces his fears, asking other animals for help to achieve his goal. In the end he finds what he is looking for in a little boy who offers him friendship.

Catherine Landry, is a single mother balancing a corporate level human resources job with raising her neurodivergent son and maintaining harmony in a multigenerational household. Catherine's love for the written word, songs and movies was shared with her son which led him to sharing his stories with her. Just as the main character's life is changed when he meets a little boy, so too has Catherine's life journey changed.
