This is a duo-book set, a character-educational read-aloud series about the adventures of two imaginary twin angels, empowering kids to discover how to become better little people by exercising self-control over their negative thoughts. The humorous and sometimes playful angels travel in backpacks and demonstrate boldness and courage, building families, encouraging friendships, and embracing the freedom that comes from making good choices despite the threat of peer pressure or scary thoughts. In the stories, these thoughts begin in our minds and make their way to kids' hearts by the way of a shove of negative energy from Mendos. A Mendo is the angel's enemy. He is invisible and creeps through the eyes and ears of kids to infect and corrupt any good thoughts. Thoughts of love, joy, peace, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control are all ripe for his plans of destruction. The angel twwins adventures consist of them challenging everyday kids about what thoughts they choose to pack in their minds that filter down into their hearts and cause them to make poor choices. Corrupting the thoughts of children is the mission of the Mendo, but the angels eagerly stomp on its head with their supernatural
