Prepare the Way!: Adventures with J.C. #3

In the Adventures with J.C. series, children experience Bible stories as the amazing and exciting adventures that they are.- Three siblings go back in time with Jesus to experience Bible stories. Jesus is training them to be Special Operatives for the Kingdom of Heaven. They receive power verse cards (Bible verses) and a training manual.

• Kids love the adventures and all the color pictures!
• Adults love the Bible stories, power verses, and wholesome messages.
• The storyline engages children and creates many opportunities to talk about the Bible, Godly principles, and daily life applications.

ADVENTURES WITH J.C.: BOOK #3- In book 3, Prepare the Way!, the children meet John the Baptist.

• The children think John looks a little strange. Jesus teaches them not to judge others.
• The children eat a honey and locust breakfast with Jesus and John.
• They watch as Jesus is baptized and they learn about the Trinity.

ADVENTURES WITH J.C.: OVERVIEW- Jesus invites three siblings to be a part of a Special Operations Team for the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus explains that he will be their trainer. The team experiences Bible stories, teachings, and verses firsthand-with Jesus as their guide!

• Meet Vince, Eleanor, and Viviana! Three regular kids that recently moved to a new town. One day while Vince is feeling sad, Jesus shows up! Jesus invites Vince (and his sisters) to be a part of a new Special Operations Team-a training program for the Kingdom of Heaven.
• The children experience Bible stories with Jesus as their guide. Jesus is their trainer and friend. He gives them a new Bible verse to memorize for every adventure.
• Jesus teaches lessons that correlate with events in the Bible story and problems the children are working through in their own lives.
• In this series, children experience Bible stories and see how much Jesus loves and cares for them.

ADVENTURES WITH J.C.: BOOK #1- In book 1, Who is the Greatest?, Jesus and Vince are transported in a whirlwind (like Elijah in 2 Kings).

• They go back to Luke 9, where Vince helps Jesus with a mission. Jesus asks Vince to stand in front of the disciples as he states, "The one who is least among you is the greatest."
• Later Jesus and Vince spend time together skipping rocks. Vince realizes Jesus is the best friend a kid can have.

ADVENTURES WITH J.C.: Book #2- In adventure 2, Let the Children Come!, Vince is in trouble. He made a big mess and he doesn't know how to fix it. Neither do his sisters. Vince shares his secret about meeting with Jesus. He convinces his sisters that Jesus can help them.

• He shows his sisters his power verse card and Special Operations Team Training Manual. All three decide to pray and ask Jesus for help. Join Jesus and three siblings on an epic adventure. The children receive a power verse to help them complete their mission.
• All three siblings adventure with Jesus as they go back to Mark 10:13-16 where Jesus says, "Let the children come unto me and do not stop them". On their adventure, the children rescue a lamb, make friends, and experience Jesus teaching them the greatest commandment-Love.

ADVENTURES WITH J.C.: BOOK #4- In book 4, The First Miracle, the children walk through a day with Jesus.

• They are introduced to men who will be some of Jesus' disciples.
• They spend time with Jesus' mother, and they experience the wedding at Cana.
• On this adventure, Jesus teaches them to fully rely on God and listen for their next instructions.
• The children watch as water is turned into wine, Jesus' first public miracle.
