Both Andrew Murray and C. H. Spurgeon wrote and taught about the immeasurable value of intercessory prayer in the life of every believer and the entire church. They believed that persistent, fervent prayer is, perhaps, the greatest work that every Christian can do by the grace of God and in the power of the Holy Spirit.
