Taken from three Christmas sermons by Pastor Sal Pezzino, this three-week advent study is focused on the Second Person of the Trinity and His reasons for becoming man. His glorious Person is considered under the three predominant names by which He is known in the New Testament. The first week focuses on Him as the Word of God; the second, as the Son of God; the third, as the Image of God. You shall see how altogether fitting it was that He - and not the Father or the Holy Ghost - should be united to our fallen nature for our redemption, and by the end of the study, my prayer is that you shall say with the Apostle Paul, "Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!"
