Welcome to Warriors of the Word. The mission of Warriors is to help men discover the Kingdom purpose God created them for since the foundation of the world, while growing spiritually, mentally, and physically in Christ. This book includes a 9-week guide with weekly bible, diet, and workout plans, along with an accountability framework intended to be lived out in community.

Warriors was born out of a need-a need for connection, for authentic community, and for real accountability. Across the nation, young men are returning to the church in droves. According to Barna's 2025 data, 45% of U.S. adult men report attending church weekly, surpassing women at 36%. This reversal of the longstanding gender gap in church attendance began in 2022 and continues into 2024. Between 2019 and 2025, commitment to Jesus among Gen Z men increased by 15 percentage points, from 52% to 67%. Similarly, Millennial men saw a rise of 19 percentage points in their commitment levels.

These numbers reveal both the challenge and the opportunity: the church must find new ways to reach men, calling them into brotherhood, discipleship, and Kingdom leadership. Warriors was born as one answer to that need. Christian workout groups offer a fresh, approachable way to bridge that gap, creating authentic community and a pathway to reconnect with both faith and belonging.

At its core, Warriors is an opportunity to step into leadership. It is a canvas for you to discover and express your gifts for the glory of God. By combining fitness, Scripture, and accountability, Warriors creates an environment where men can lead in a specific area of gifting. Whether it be media, teaching scripture, or leading workouts, men grow in strength and character while learning to live as leaders in their families, churches, and communities.

Over the next nine weeks, you will be challenged to become the best version of yourself. You will grow spiritually, mentally, and physically as you pursue a deeper walk with Christ. This journey is not about perfection but about progress and discipline.

This book is designed as a template for anyone who desires to create their own Warriors group and spread the culture of the Kingdom. This life group rests on four pillars: Bible reading, diet, exercise, and accountability.

Warriors can only exist in community, and it can only thrive through accountability. Together, we sharpen one another. Together, we seek the Kingdom first.
