Therefore the LORD waits [expectantly] and longs to be gracious to you,

And therefore He waits on high to have compassion on you.

For the LORD is a God of justice; Blessed (happy, fortunate) are all those who long for Him [since He will never fail them].

• Isaiah 30:18

When life feels stripped bare and the world grows heavy, your soul needs a place to rest-somewhere gentle, steady, and full of hope.

Waiting With the Wildflowers is a 30-day devotional for the seasons when nothing feels certain, when it seems like everything has been taken from you, or when the path ahead is painfully unclear. In these wilderness moments, God becomes your anchor-your light, your teacher, your comfort, and your guide through the hardest valleys.

Each day offers:

• A Scripture to steady your heart
• A reflection born from real trials and Holy Spirit revelation
• A prayer to help you surrender, breathe, and draw close to God

This devotional was shaped in the middle of the author's most difficult season-when God highlighted specific Scriptures, whispered truth into the chaos, and brought peace where there had only been pain. These pages carry those same truths: that who God says you are does not change when life gets hard, that your purpose cannot be stolen, and that your freedom in Christ is never refundable.

You don't have to rush through the hurt. You don't have to pretend you're okay. In the waiting, in the uncertainty, in the uncomfortable stretching-your faith can grow deeper, stronger, and more enduring than ever before.
