What a privilege it is to be called a child of God

In order to demonstrate how deep His love is for us, God calls us His children. 1 John 3: 1 says, "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God " This thoughtfully written devotion explores the roles of parenting and compares them to the nature of our Heavenly Father. He is our Creator, Protector, Provider, Teacher, Disciplinarian, and He promises a great inheritance to His sons and daughters.

Each chapter examines a different parental function and looks at how our Heavenly Father fills the role perfectly. Chapters are followed by a Psalm of David relating to the topic.
