"Poetry and Prayer Sketches grew out of a graduate course offered at the Earlham School of Religion, by Susanna Childress in Richmond, Indiana, during the Spring Term of 2008. The sketches were the result of conversations with a long time friend, George S. Keltika, who had just retired from teaching Art at Pickering College, Newmarket, Ontario, where we had been colleagues for many years.
