Thanks And Praise

Each new day is filling with things to be thankful for - from big events such as having another day of life, to small ones such as finding matching socks in the dryer (although sometimes that can seem big!) But in our busyness and struggles, it's easy to forget to give thanks. Sometimes our feelings don't lend to thoughts of gratefulness - it's much easier to dwell on what is wrong rather than what is right. When that happens, the best cure is to start giving thanks about anything - the key is just to start. Give thanks for the first thing that comes to mind - nothing is too small. All gratefulness builds into a big deposit of love for the One who gives us reason to live and praise His name.
