"One thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the LORD And to meditate in His temple." - Psalm 27:4 NASB1995

After His Own Heart is the first book of an upcoming book series titled The Psalm Prayers, including prayers that were written under the study and revelation of the Psalms of the Bible.

This book can be used:

• as a part of your daily prayer time,
• as a monthly prayer plan,
• yearly as a way to keep the fire of God the focus of your year,
• any time you want to strip yourself away and lay at the feet of Jesus, awaiting and expectant for His Presence and refinement.

I will say that whenever you do choose to pray any one of these prayers, enter in with a heart posture that longs to look like Christ, that yearns to be considered like King David, as one with a heart after God's own.

Inside you will find:

• Teaching on King David
• 10 Devotionals,
• Scripture of the first 30 Psalms, and
• Intentional Prayers to accompany them.

If you want to seek God's face,

this book was written for you.

If you desire a deeper understanding of His heart,

this book was written for you.

If you hunger for the Lord's presence like a deer pants for the waters,

this book was written, especially_, for you._

1 Samuel 15:22 - 'Samuel said, "Does the LORD have as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better.'

It's time to prioritise offering God our obedience over our works. Out of obedience will come works pleasing to God, but first comes the obedience. First comes the intimacy. First comes understanding the Lord.

I pray you will finish this book with a deeper understanding of the Lord our God, and that that understanding will saturate your life completely, in Jesus' name. Amen.
