Dear Fierce Fighters,

Life is filled with ups and downs. We have beautiful seasons, but there are also seasons in which we have to fight harder than others. The journal you are holding was created specifically for your fight, no matter what it is.

No one likes receiving bad news, whether it's about our health, family, or career. It's scary. It's shocking. It's overwhelming. It simply sucks. But know that regardless of what you are facing, you have the power to conquer this.

Since your fight began, I'm pretty sure you've been asking yourself, "What did I do to cause this?" You've probably had moments when your mind was filled with thoughts of what you could have done differently. Don't focus your energy on that. Focus on overcoming what's in front of you.

If you need to vent -- vent. If you need to cry -- cry. If you need to scream -- scream. This journal is your special companion to get it all the hell out! When you are done, get up, pull up those big girl panties, and fight.

There will be bad days, but also extremely good days. Try your best to hold on to the joy and hope that those good days possess. It will carry you through the bad. Don't forget to find your tribe and allow them to support you. You will need them.
