Jack thought his maths teacher was the most boring man in the world, until he found out he was a part time spy with MI9. Finally having been awarded his Junior Agent Status, Jack's mission is to extract information from his classmate, Marie, whose mum, a top government scientist has absconded and taken her ground breaking discovery with her.

However, when Marie goes missing from a school cross-country competition, Jack, and his friends, Tess and Sam, begin to fear that something more sinister is going on.
