Seven men from different backgrounds are in an old van, travelling together through deserted spaces, always moving to the next town or village. A young PhD student is writing on the psychology of collecting. To help progress her thesis, she has started to buy unwanted and unusual dental tools from a vendor. This new professional relationship soon blossoms into a friendship. Are the two women collecting one another?
