In the year 1912, life in a lobster fishing village on an isolated
island off of the coast of Maine was hard. Here was no proper school,
doctor, or church. When the harbor freezes over, Jimma, Righty,
and everyone else on Henning’s Island are out of hope. Until one
day, out of the blue, the Sunbeam, captained by the Reverend
Alexander MacDonald, breaks through the ice. Captain Mac brings
desperately needed food and supplies on board his ship, and, even
better, he brings hope to the desperate Island community. But can
hope last in such a bleak place?
