Halle is a little girl in an average neighborhood, but there is an old house on the corner that is anything but average. Rumors circulate among the kids that the house is alive and haunted in some way, and the one who lives there is little more than a grumpy, old, religious man.

But one day, Halle gets close enough to smell the hope seemingly pouring out of the house. A man appears to her and introduces himself to her as an angel, named Angelo, a tour guide of the house. Angelo takes Halle through the house's amazing experiences, from the front porch where heroic family stories are told, to the unlimited nature of the Father's table. And just wait until you discover "The Son's Room."
