This story finds Henry dealing with the difficult emotion of anger. His friend Mikey accidentally gave him a black-eye and Henry can't seem to let go of his anger and forgive his buddy.

Meanwhile, Henry needs to seek forgiveness from his mom after breaking her favorite vase. Mom's first reaction is anger but soon offers a logical consequence fo his behavior by having Henry pay to repair the vase.

Henry also accidentally steps on Huckleberry's tail and apologizes instantly. Huckleberry is very gracious and instantly forgives his best friend.

This example makes Henry work harder to let go of his anger towards Mikey.

Henry talks to his dad about the difficulty he is having with forgiving Mikey. Dad reminds him that the anger is more harmful to Henry than it is to anyone else.

Finally after practicing a simple little prayer each night, Henry lets go of his anger and learns the joy of forgiveness.
