This book was inspired by my first-born son, Liam, who was born with polydactyly--six toes on each foot. As we began researching the condition, we were surprised to learn just how common it is. When it came time to decide whether to remove his extra toes, we chose instead to embrace them and celebrate the way God made him--perfect, with a little extra! This story is written to inspire children and families to embrace their own unique features and differences. Every one of us is wonderfully made and special in our own way.
