Gerry the Giraffe doesn't think he makes a good Giraffe because he can't do what other Giraffes can do, so he goes on a quest to see where he fits in. After unsuccessfully trying to become a Warthog, an Antelope, a Jackrabbit, and an Ostrich his mother assures him that, if he is patient as he grows up, he will become the great Giraffe he was born to be.
