When the Squeevers moved from their farm to the city, it was a little bit of an adjustment for Berl. He's a rough-and-tumble guy who loves to go-kart, fish, and play outside-something he's not always able to do in his new town of Center Hill!

Mama Squeever knows Berl is feeling a little out of his element, so she and Berl go exploring around town to see who they can meet and what they can find!

On their adventure, Berl introduces the reader to all the nice (and sometimes, not as nice) people and places he discovers. He makes a new friend, meets some wonderful townspeople, and even makes plans for the family at a new Church!
