When we pray we turn to our God who loves us and cares for us. God wants us to share with him all that we do.

These prayers are to help you know that God loves you and is with you. Make a special time and place each day to say your prayers. Spend some time in silence just knowing that God is with you and that he loves you, and then use a prayer and let the prayer encourage you to pray words of your own.

By praying we learn to walk in the light and love of God.

A sample Easter prayer by David Adam:

God,

thank you that seeds and bulbs grow in secret

without me seeing them.

I trust they will rise out of the earth.

Thank you for Jesus who,

though crucified, dead and was buried,

rose again for us all.

Amen.
