Try reading the book of Proverbs.

Join us as we follow Solomon in the great adventure of seeking after wisdom. But I warn you-don't waste your time if you aren't ready to come with the right attitude. Until you give up on your own wisdom, you won't have room in your heart for the wisdom of God.

This book is a series of emails I wrote to my grandson as we read our way together through the book of Proverbs. As I share some of the insights I've gained from reading these words of King Solomon, I make no apology if it seems to take on the tone of grandfatherly advice. That's just what it is.

While the book of Proverbs is addressed to young men, God's wisdom is really available to everyone-men and women, young and old. You have no excuse to ignore it!
