Greg Henderson and his fellow Albertville First Baptist Church members were challenged by their new pastor to live Matthew 28:19-20, the Great Commission. Prepare Your Battleship to Advance Your Troops is the author's second faith-based book, following Transition Time: Five Questions to Consider Before Leaving the Nest.

His latest book shares how a missions-minded pastor infused reaching the lost worldwide into the very DNA of his new congregation. Over the last twelve years, this small-town church has given over five million dollars to advance the Gospel locally, across the U.S., and worldwide as God has blessed the church's efforts.

Henderson tells of his mission adventures in Central Asia and the U.S., along with many stories of the trips of his fellow church members to South America, the Middle East, Africa, the Dominican Republic, and other areas worldwide. Hopefully, the interviews with mission partners and the miracles they witnessed will inspire others.

A retired realtor, Greg Henderson now writes and coaches the Albertville High School men's varsity basketball team as well as the Lady Aggies varsity tennis team, while chasing grandkids. Having attained numerous achievements in business and sports, he is a member of three Hall-of-Fames and has received Albertville's Citizen of the Year Award. The author is very active in his church, where he has been a long-time teacher. He and his wife Kathy have been married for 42 years.
