Lectio Divina of the Gospels 2020-2021

Lectio Divina of the Gospels for the Liturgical Year, 2020-2021 takes the reader through the traditional process of lectio divina, with reading, meditation, prayer, and contemplation, focused on the Sunday gospel reading. A unique guide is offered for each gospel reading to help the reader explore the sacred texts with greater attention and allow the Word to permeate their mind and imagination more deeply. Each week's lectio divina includes a dedicated page for writing out reflections, thoughts, and prayers.

This book takes the reader through a cycle of praying with the Gospels for Sundays and major feasts of the liturgical year, beginning with the first Sunday of Advent on November 29, 2020 and concluding with the last Sunday in Ordinary Time on November 28, 2021.

This lectio divina prayer guide can be used for personal meditation, as a tool for family prayer, and would also be great for parish small-group reflections on the Sunday Gospel.
