"Youth is an original and stimulating stage of life, which Jesus himself experienced, thereby sanctifying it."

Inspired by the wealth of reflections and conversations that emerged from last year's Synod, Pope Francis addresses this Apostolic Exhortation to all Christian young people. In his impassioned letter, the Holy Father captures the joys and the struggles of young people, shedding light on what they think about faith, how they understand Jesus Christ, what they do to discern their vocation and how they find and maintain identity. He encourages them on their journey in faith and discernment: with their doubts and frustrations, their efforts to find themselves, their past errors, their experiences of sin and all their difficulties.

As they walk – together with the entire people of God – young Christians, like us all, are reminded to always keep in mind that our journey has a destination: we are on our way to God our Father, who is the source of love, and the reason and meaning of our lives.
