In the Name of Jesus - Reflections on Christian Leadership. The material for this little book came out of preparation for and experience of speaking about Christian leadership in the twenty-first century at the fifteenth anniversary of the Center for Human Development in Washington, DC. And Henri J.M. Nouwen, author and priest, drew from his experience of moving from twenty years at Notre Dame, Yale, and Harvard to work as a priest at Daybreak, one of the L'Arche communities for mentally handicapped people, a move from leading to being led. They will give you some inkling of the direction to take when wondering about Christian leadership in the future, a leadership which is not modeled on the power games of the world, but on the servant-leader, Jesus, who came to give his life for the salvation of many.
