Willow missed her home and her grandmother.

She wished she could make everything the way it was before the accident.

She glanced up at the looming log house that was to be her new home. The branches from the enormous pine trees seemed to embrace and cradle the enormous building, making it look especially frightening to her. "I don't want to live with these people," she mumbled. "Will I ever learn to love a total stranger who says he's my father? And how can this lady who claims to be my new grandmother replace the grandmother I loved so much?"
