This graphic novel (the first installment of an illustrated series) explores the lives, worlds, and missions of Sahn, an extraterrestrial being, as told while s/he experiences Earth as Jesus of Nazareth (so, henceforth he/him). Sahn comes to us from an advanced civilization of super-sentients-they name their species "Ahnjel"-located on an Earth-like planet, Gahd, in a binary star system of the distant galaxy, Hehvin. Sahn is an agent of the Sentience Exploration Group (SEG) that, while diligently searching the universe, long ago discovered within our galaxy a host of life-producing solar systems and rogue planets which deserved closer scrutiny, and so, has been studying "Terra" for hundreds of thousands of years.

The SEG mission is to seek out and identify emerging sentience in living worlds, and guide advanced species throughout their treacherous evolution journey to transcendence and eventual membership in the Cosmic Federation. Once a "sentient world" is identified, the SEG sends a team to periodically visit and gently interject True-Life notions, i.e., that hospitality, care for others, selfless living, and mercy lead to the most wholesome and fulfilled "true" life-a lifestyle that is necessary (based on past experience and empirical evidence) for the continuance of the species-rather than say, "looking out for number one."

How does the SEG do this?

Did Sahn take things too far on planet Earth?

Alien Jesus: It Begins answers these questions and more.
