For those curious about the Exodus Pharaoh's identity.
"Thutmose IV as the Exodus Pharaoh" clarifies history.
You’ll gain new insights into Moses and the Exodus story.
The identity of the Pharaoh of the Exodus has been a mystery. In 2005 a scholar published evidence from research into historical synchronisms suggesting that Pharaoh Thutmose IV lived 55 years earlier than commonly believed, placing him at the time of the Exodus.
The authors examined this theory, as well as several others, using contemporary astronomical records, the latest archaeology, and additional historical records. Upon establishing the Pharaoh's identity and chronology, a new candidate emerged for Pharaoh's daughter, who rescued the infant Moses from the Nile River. The results subsequently attest to the reliability of the Old Testament narratives concerning Moses and the Exodus.
In this 4th edition, additional astronomical records, archaeological discoveries and historical records are considered. Chronologies for several other Dynasties have also been added.
While this book was written for the academic community, it should be of interest to all those interested in the subject.
