Jesus Christ formed his Church to accomplish a Mission on earth. Whatever model we use to characterize the Church - a profitable business, a school, a military force, a spiritual hospital, or a political organization - Christ expects us to be working on this Mission and making progress toward the goal he has called us to.

Unfortunately the modern Church seems to have lost all sense of even the idea of God\'s Mission. In Book One we will look at the current state of affairs in our churches, then we will survey the entire Bible for clear statements of the Mission. From the very beginning it\'s always been the same clear, simple and urgent goal for God\'s people.
