The shedding of Jesus Christ's blood on the Cross was a factor in order for us to receive forgiveness for our sins and acceptance into the presence of God. Because the Bible says, "... without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness" (Hebrews 9:22).
It is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ that we have received reconciliation, and have been redeemed. Today we are called children of God (John 1:11-12) because of the blood of Jesus.
This small booklet explores what the blood achieved for humanity.
Why Jesus Christ had to die for humanity stems from the Genesis chapter 3 narratives. We must not stay alienated from God no longer. Because now the path to eternity is open. We can now access God and His throne. This is the work of the Lord's blood.
