A fresh new look at the Bible, from beginning to end, and what it means in your life We've asked some of the leading Bible scholars and teachers to help us with a new kind of Bible study. Immersion remains true to Scripture but always asks, "Where are you in your life? What do you stuggle with? What makes you rejoice?" and then helps you read the text to discover the Scriptures' deep, abiding truths. Immersion is about God and God's word, and it is also about you-not just your thoughts but your feelings and your faith. In each study you will preview the focus of the Bible reading, prayerfully read and reflect upon it, then identify ways you can put into practice what you have learned from the reading. This process of engagement with the biblical foundations of Christian faith is intended to help people deepen their faith and grow in love of God and neighbor. Immersion makes use of, but is not limited to, an exciting new translation of Scripture, the Common English Bible (CEB).
