Predestination is the recipients of the Holy Spirit "And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit" (Ephesians 1:13b). The Holy Spirit is given to believers as a down payment of what we are going to have in greater fullness in the future. Jesus Christ's presence and His work of redemption on believer's lives is a pledge of their future inheritance. God the Father created and predestinated believing Christians so that they can do good works. " For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do" (Ephesians 2:10)
